Jensen's Point

Jensen's Point © 2002

Once part of the Henry Shaw Gardenway, this overlook shelter is now on private property. It was dedicated to Lars Peter Jensen, who was, among other things, the manager of the Missouri Botanical Garden Arboretum at Gray Summit, Missouri.

A Henry Shaw Gardenway Bus Stop that was part of the same overall project has since been moved to the Shaw Nature Reserve, which is the new name of the Arboretum.

The Missouri Botannical Garden web site has a historic map of the arboretum, dated 1933.
